Jorlan Publishing illustrators are experienced and talented professionals who will work with you to create original artwork for your book and promotional materials. Upon completion of the artwork, the illustrator will prepare a high-resolution digital image file of each illustration for you. The image(s) will be delivered via e-mail, uploaded to an FTP site, or copied to a CD and shipped.* The illustrators retain the original artwork for their portfolios and own the copyright just as the author owns the copyright for his or her own manuscript. Together, the two combine to make your published book the best it can be!

Original artwork created according to client specifications
Nonexclusive rights granted for the images (the author uses the images in his or her book and promotional materials; the illustrator retains the copyright and ownership of the physical artwork)
Color or black & white
Front and back cover illustrations
Interior illustrations
Rate: $95 for each illustration
*Extra charges apply for the following items:
Scanned artwork copied to a CD and shipped: $10 + actual shipping charges (your choice of delivery method).
Occasionally, printers may want to scan the original illustrations themselves. If this is the case with your printer, then you will be responsible for the cost of packaging and shipping the artwork from the illustrator to the printer and back again.

Submission Guidelines:
Please contact us with a brief description of your book, and we will provide instructions for submitting the files electronically. Quotes, invoices, agreements, and payment options will be sent via email.
Important Note: All manuscripts are subject to approval. No materials containing "adult" content, excessive violence, offensive language, or hate propaganda will be accepted for services ... please do not submit them. Jorlan Publishing reserves the right to decline any manuscript at its sole discretion. The author will receive a full refund of any prepaid fees should his/her manuscript be declined for whatever reason.
